What's Changing
On February 15, 2026, between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM IST, we'll be upgrading our payment processing infrastructure. During this window, payment processing will be temporarily unavailable. Existing bookings and active rentals will not be affected.
This upgrade brings several important improvements to how you pay and get paid on Arentzo.
New Payment Features
UPI Autopay: Set up automatic recurring payments for monthly rentals. No more remembering to pay on the due date — UPI Autopay handles it automatically with the same security as a regular UPI transaction.
International Cards: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards issued outside India will now be accepted. This is especially useful for expats and international visitors who want to rent items during their stay.
Faster Seller Payouts: Settlement time is being reduced from T+3 to T+1 for verified sellers. Complete a rental on Monday, receive the payment on Tuesday.
Split Payments: For high-value rentals (₹10,000+), renters can now split the payment with up to 3 co-renters. Each person pays their share directly — no more coordinating group payments manually.
What You Need to Do
For Renters: Nothing. Your saved payment methods will continue to work. If you have any scheduled payments due between 2:00–4:00 AM on February 15, they will be automatically processed once the upgrade is complete.
For Sellers: Nothing. Your payout schedule and bank account details remain unchanged. The faster T+1 settlement will apply automatically to all sellers on the Pro plan and above.
For API Partners: If you integrate with our payment webhook, please update your endpoint to accept the new `payment_v2` event format. Full documentation is available in our Developer Portal.
